On the occasion of Jürgen Habermas's 80th birthday, there have been many friendly and flattering congratulations and comments on Habermas. But now it is time for a critical voice.
The national German radio station, Deutschlandsfunk, broadcasted on June 18, the day of Habermas's bithday, an interview with professor Norbert Bolz (Berlin Institute of Technology) entitled:
"Niemand hat mehr Angst vor den deutschen Denkern"
(No one is any longer afraid of the German thinkers)
